Powered natively by a robust 12.6V lithium pack with a heavy-duty 20A BMS. Most active portables use wasteful DC-to-DC boost converters that waste 20% of your battery as heat just to chase a fake "wattage" number. This connects the silicon straight to the chemical cells for pure, unadulterated current delivery.The 48µF Mechanical Guardrail: Standard software assumes speakers behave linearly, but real music rips bass cones apart. We installed a custom 48 µF passive high-pass filter across the internal 8-ohm EV 12-inch driver. This acts as a physical shield, rolling off the power-hogging low frequencies that cause mechanical bottoming-out. The result? The titanium horn and mid-bass punch scream with jaw-dropping, uncompressed vocal clarity.
Bi-Directional Neutrik Magic.
This box features two distinct personalities. Switch the internal amp OFF, and it acts as a standard passive venue speaker, plug any venue amplifier straight into the Neutrik jacks. Switch it ON, and those exact same Neutrik jacks instantly convert into high-current outputs. You can patch a passive 1-ohm subwoofer straight into the back, and the internal module dynamically drives the entire stack on the fly.
Real-World Example We field-tested this exact build at an outdoor event running brutal, heavy drum & bass. We pushed the EV to its absolute limit while a connected subwoofer was physically bottoming out at its excursion limit for 5 hours straight. After 5 hours of non-stop torture, the battery indicator was still sitting at 4 out of 5 bars. It doesn't sip power; it masters efficiency.
